The best time to take action against invasive species is when they are first introduced, before they have a chance to spread. But we can only manage invasive species if we know where the are! This is why it is so important to report all your observations of alien and invasive species.
If you see a plant you don’t recognize or a creature you have concerns about, we encourage you to report it! Record where you saw it and take photos. You can report your observation on iNaturalist (join the iNaturalist Alien Species of the NWT project here) or use the NWT CISPP reporting form.
